About Caleb
Clients find my particular approach to therapy to be a casual directness that is personable but does not shy away from the emotional difficulties often involved in pursuing self-reflection or achieving actualized change. People come to me when they are ready to take a closer examination of themselves and their circumstances; gaining clarity and insight into their emotions, sense of self, values, and a deeper sense of what matters to them and what to do about it.
Personally, I have a broad background that helps me connect on many different levels. I have worked in the corporate business world for Fortune 500 companies, small tech startups, and owned my own business for many years before obtaining a MS in Counseling through National University in San Diego.
I am a recent Chicago transplant and moved here along with my wife and three kids from California. I enjoy playing tennis, nerdy board games, or video games and I am a big foodie so please share with me your favorite spots at our first session!

Therapy tailored to who you are and who you want to become.
Therapy at its most basic element is a sacred space to explore just you. Our overall aim will be for you to create a deeper and more knowing connection to yourself and to the world around you.
I utilize a modality called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which is a personal values-focused approach that helps you gain clarity and confidence in yourself as an individual person. What would it feel like to have the ability to discern and the security to choose your values vs the felt expectations that are often thrust upon us by other people and outside sources? Unlike other approaches, we are not satisfied with simply reducing or managing symptoms. Rather we give our attention to the fundamental aspects of your relationship to your thoughts and emotions and notice the things that come up within you that get in the way of you being you across the different contexts in your life.
